LIBERIAN DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN AERO-INDIAN EXHIBITION 2023

BARCLAY TRAINING CENTER, MONROVIA-  13 FEBRUARY 2023: A three-member Liberian delegation from the Ministry of National Defense has arrived in the Indian State of Bengaluru to participate in this year’s Aero -Indian Exhibition.

The delegation is headed by Deputy Defense Minister for Operations, Hon. Prince K. Vincent. Other members of the delegation include the Assistant Minister of National Defense for Public Affairs, Hon. Sam K. Collins; and the Special Assistant to the Minister of National Defense, Hon. William K. Toe. 

The delegation departed Monrovia on Sunday, February 12, 2023, and arrived in India on Monday, February 12, 2023, at the Bengaluru International Airport.

While in India, the Liberian delegation will hold a high-level discussion with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of India, Shri Rajanath Singh, and also participate in other discussions on the margin of the Aero-Indian Exhibition.

Aero India 2023, a five-day event inaugurated by PM Modi on Monday, February 12, 2023, is the 14th edition of India’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition with the highest rate of participation. The exhibition is featuring top international think-tanks, major aerospace companies and world leaders.

The event, with the theme ‘The runway to a billion opportunities’, radiates the rise of a strong and self-reliant ‘New India’ by displaying India’s growth in aerospace and defense capabilities.

Aero India showcases India as an emerging hub for manufacturing of military aircraft, helicopters, military equipment and new-age avionics, was. Over 700 defense companies and delegates from 98 countries are participating in the event.
