MONROVIA- LIBERIA: In an effort to enhance professionalism and maintain the culture of motivation within Liberia’s defense sector, the Ministry of National Defense has paid homage to scores of its staffs for their hard-work, dedication and commitment to duties over the years.
The Ministry honored and certificated Mr. Bill Duo, Mr. Francis Sabley, Mr. Matthew Gray, Mr. Olando Wolobah and Mr. Richard Konneh on Monday, December 21, 2020.
In a brief remark during the honoring ceremony, the Honorable Minister of National Defense, Maj/Gen. Daniel Dee Ziankahn (Retired) thanked the honorees for their hard work and dedicated services in the achievement of the goals of the Ministry over the years.
He used the occasion to wish the general staff a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Minister Ziankahn further encouraged the staff in general to emulate the good examples of the honorees.
Presenting the awards in recognition of the honorees, the Deputy Minister for Administration, Tibli Olandrus Dickson, lauded the honorees for their remarkable services rendered the Ministry over the years. He admonished them to continue their good work as the Ministry moves on to 2021.
Speaking on behalf of the honorees, Olando Wolobah appreciated the leadership of the Ministry for the honor bestowed on them. Mr. Wolobah then dedicated the awards to the rest of the staff of the Ministry, stating that they would not have been honored without teamwork and support of the general staff. He promised that they will endeavor to do more as the recognition has re-energized them.
This honoring program, marked by departmental
recommendations and administrative evaluation, marks a milestone in the lives of the honorees.
