2nd Lieutenant Dehlee Lavelah of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) recently returned from the United States of America where she completed the U.S. Army Military Police Basic Course.
The High Command of the AFL and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense appreciate the United States Army for its continual support to the professional development of the AFL.
Prior to her departure for the U.S., 2nd Lieutenant Dehlee Lavelah served at the United Nations Mission in Mali from 2018 to 2019.
Lieutenant Lavelah is yet another example of the AFL commitment to incorporate more women in the security sector. 2LT Lavelah hopes that her accomplishments will encourage more women to join the ranks of the AFL.
